Is the extra inch in width going to really effect my ride quality at all?

Bonus points: red centercap
WHERE HAVE U SEEN THEM IN 18!!!!!??? lol.... post link now? lol ive found atleast 7 set in 17s but they are all multidrilled to death!!... theres no way to refill and redill when they've reached that point..
They were on RBWheels like six months ago but now that I think about they were the wrong offset. I'm pretty sure they were for RWD and two wheels were different. Plus, two had blue centercaps and two had red, haha.
Talking about fill and drilling wheels, have you guys ever dealt with that process? Anyone ever had a set? Is it safe?
I may or may not be looking at a set that will require a fill and drill. I will be daily driving these, so they're going to have to stand up to a good amount of miles...

lol im everywhere today
alot of BBS wheels and VW ppl do it man.. and they have no problems.. alot of wheels actually run dual drill patterns.. you just need to take it to the right person and make sure they do it correctly!!
what wheels are you gonna redrill... also are you gonna refill also?

you need to make sure the welds are good without any porosity and any cracks. this can be done by pt or mt'ing the welds. If done correctly with the right filler rod it should make no difference.
he can also just not refill... ( depending on the wheel) if it has a cap like a BBS wheel then just redrill and make sure its spaced evenly on the hub so no holes touch and theres plenty of meat on the hub.
