try changing to a 40 or 35 series tires... might look a lot better than that 45 series.

Well these wheels have alot of options such as wut specs you would from the wheels. I kinda want a deep dish type on the rears but not too much and theres a chart for these wheels and since im not a wheel guru like some of you i dont know which has the deep dish or where to read it from which im pretty sure is there.

Not necessarily. I feel it depends if the wheel has a lip and the size/pattern/number of the spokes. For example: the BBS LM in a 17in diameter looks small, but my 17in BBS RG-R actually look larger than they are on occasion. The MS1 looks particularly small in diameters appropriate for our car. I've seen 17 and 18 inch versions of the wheel in person and they look very similar because of the way the lip is and the depth of the face.

tire size and tucking have a huge factor.. in my pics im wayyyy lower then checho... the lower u drop the better off your going to look.. its the same with almost any 17" wheel... crappy drop = tiny wheel... with 18s its not an issue but 17s yes.. its a huge factor...

also serg if u had a lip kit that would help out tremendously...

even 18's are an issue, my gt-p's look like crap with just springs, hopefully ill be on some coilovers soon, i can't stand it. plus im wanting to paint my hood and deck back to white, that might be the reason it doesn't look so good, i dont think those wheels flow good with a panda theme car

tire size it the problem. your sidewalls are too thick for the design of your wheels. if you had thicker spokes like Pete's old Weds, then the tires wouldnt look so fat. thin spokes need thin tires.
you need sidewalls that are as thin as the lip of your wheels. 215/45 or 225/40 would look much better.

black cars always look lower because the wheel gap blends in with the car, so I wouldnt worry so much about the drop.

both of us have 225/45 tires.. the problem with mines looking a little better is im lower and can hide the tire chunk easier...

im going to go down to a 215/45 tire next or possibly a 205/45 for an even more stretched look... i know doing this will definitely help the wheel look bigger. adding some camber etc etc ....

pete, are your lm specs the same as checho's? i was under the impression that yours were a bit wider.
