I read somewhere he did that and some month later ordered another Viper and kept the GT-R

nope now the gt-r is sold.

last time i was over at his house he had new coilovers, and was working with K&N to get a custom intake made.

 

titanium bolts that were rusted on new wheels
ppl not getting their wheels
ppl waiting MONTHS and not anything or money taken
shady business practices
name changing of company (usually not a good deal cuz your hiding things)

the list goes on... but yes look them up in the BBB also...

 

Why on Earth would anyone ever downgrade from a Viper to a GTR.

Yep, Andy sold the first Viper (White one) and got the GTR, then wasn't happy with it so he sold the GTR and bought an 09 Viper (Grey).

ya he hated the GT-R. The white Viper was soooo nice.

 

why is everyone so against the GT-R?

 

The R35 looks good but is way over-hyped. A real driver's car like a Viper or Z06 is better than one where computers do everything for you, imo.

same. I love the R35, but the viper is more car than the R35 will ever be IMO

I think the GTR might have the highest failure rate of all new vehicles. The transmission was so prone to failure, that they had to completely remove the launch function for the next MY.

 

pssh, ball up and get a ZR1... hell, even a CTS-V! Both are awesome.

 

haha yeah and it voids the warranty if it is the cause of engine problems. IMO they both are crap.
