You know the tC has a 14.5 gallon tank, right? I guess you don't. Also, how did you manage to knock off 700 lbs from the car? Granted, there's a lot of weight in the interior panels and such, but I highly doubt it's enough to make that much difference.
Rofl. The interior is NOWHERE near 900 lbs. Try 100 at most. I have a completely gutted tC, and I know exactly how light all that crap is inside the car. The only way you're getting near 2000lbs, is if you remove the wheels, suspension, brakes, interior, fuel tank, hood/hatch/roof and replace them with nothing. Or remove the engine. Nice try, rofl.

wow this thread went downhill fast

on a sidenote someone claimed the dc-5's were 16lbs a while back in the thread?

the 18x8's weigh 21.7 lbs and the 19s weight 23.5 lbs

in regards to their reliability, I own tenzo's and Ive hit a few pot holes really hard, always thinking, "crap, I must've bent the wheel" only to find its in perfect shape everytime. Been driving around on mostly highways for about a year with them and still no chips.

Paid $1200-$1300 for my set with wheels tires and installation altogether.

$3k for tenzo wheels IMO is a bit of an exageration. For the money they are well built from my personal experience of owning them, only complaint Id have is that I wish they were lighter, my 18x8 weigh 22.5 lbs.

they're built pretty tough thats for sure, so I wouldnt exactly call them cheaply made, like some other wheels in the same price class that start chipping, bending, and peeling.

hey Ro_ja. My rims are 18x10.5 I did typo that. The Hatch is 100% Seibon and dose have a lip in it. I'm well awear of Vis's hatch. About the Rims and BBK. I had done some extensive research and some custom welding here and there. The new Camry's rock a 114.3 give me a better wheel selection and a more diverse choice of BBK's. Alot of custom work went into them. I have a full race fuel cell. Not the stock 14 gal. For someone who knows how to use google so well im suprised you couldn't find any of that out for your self

CarbonXe i can sit here and correct you on everything you just did wrong, but your whole post was a complete estimate. where are you getting 200lbs from? And i Said that it is a ESTIMATE weight. I have not put the car on anykind of scale. Gathering from everything that was removed the number is simply a estimate and only that. I never claimed that to be exact. Nice try dill hole
