Default powder coating rims

i just recently heard about this....

do you think its possible to make the stock tC rims...

black with chrome lip by powdering and all the other stuff?

I would say it depends on how big the lip is, and if its able to be polished. But Deffinately it can be coated.

well if you know what the stock tC tires look like...


its kinda hard to do it because since they are the double spoke kind that kind of goes into the lip

but i want to know if anyone has ever tried to do it..

or how it would look to others if it was attempted.

Coating usually doesn't involve taping because of the thickness. It

would be alot of work but you could get the whole wheel coated

then sand and polish the rim. Unless you or some one you know

is experienced at sanding and polishing you may want to

reconsider or research extensively.
