So question for you guys...

My buddy just picked up a set of Volks and can't use them because he didn't pay attention to the offset. I was thinking of picking them up from him as they'd work just fine on the tC however they're not really the color I'd want. They're just plain silver, which I'm not hating on, I just wanted my wheels to be a little different as I have silver now. They're the 2-pc and I'm wondering if it might be worth it to powdercoat them. Would you guys even consider doing this to expensive/rare wheels? There's only one very small curb, so I'd probably keep the lips polished, but the spokes in a gunmetal or gold would be sweet.

OR let me know what color you think would be sweet if you think it's an alright idea. My car is nautical blue.
