Update 3/1/11
Wsup guys! :D
Already March? Dammit..anyways,
probably some of you guys are saying "what the... " "yea right..like that's gonna work out.." "Psh!"
but it's all good! I'm doing this b/c of an inspiration and will try to make it work out for sure. Here's an updated story of how well things are going.
(All Phone pics)
Here is how the wheel looks like when the face was mounted from the back. Looks much cleaner and better IMO.
Highly Polished Lips (was the inner barrel) done by Simple Wheel Werks (Check these guys out. The best guys in the refinishing/Powdercoating/repairing wheel services)
Actual Lip size. Insane? Hell yes.
and the amount of poke, which was about 4.5 inches away from the fender.
soooo because I wanted to try this wheel on my inspiration's car, I took it to him last Sunday and see how it fitted. He had Endless BBK's and the wheel couldn't clear it, so we had to add an 8mm spacer. Result?
Pretty crazy eh?
So I realized that if it didn't work on his car, it wouldn't work on mine. FYI, the car that I fitted on only pulled the quarter panels and touched it up to look like OEM, which is what I'm planning to do. He is running more than -6 camber.
Took the wheel back home to mount the face, not from the back, but from the front to lessen the negative offset. Result?
not too much of a difference, but a slight reduction by mm's will help a lot in making these wheels fit.
How it looks like today. Not too good looking, but I can bare with it. There are spaces between the lip and the face which I'm a bit concerned, but tightening down those 26 rivets, i hope, will make it stay safe. I mean....just doing this ain't safe at all right? :D
I can do it!!!
More updates later on!!
I have to order Hotchkis Camber Arms so let me know which site has them for a good price.
Current thx: Simple Wheel Werks, Camberd, Low N Slow, Luigi, David Pham, Eddie (thx for the stockies!), Matt from BP VIP, Edgar Lozoya, Ben (BlktC), ShootingStar, Night-Import, M2-Motoring.

Looked good in person, I think its possible.
I'm running 17x10 et0 with -3.2ish camber, rolled/pulled stock fenders.
I think with around -6.5 or -7 camber, and a decent pull they will look good.
