Tire always says the maximum, but I want the recommended PSI that Scion says for front and rear tires on the Super 7's.

Ok, here is a heads up.

DO NOT PUT WHAT THE TIRE SAyS. that is maximum allowed for the tire.
And the reccomended pressure has nothing to do witht he rim. It is all about the vehicle.
No matter what rim or tire you put on a car, it will always call for the same tire pressure. And the owners manual will say what it is. The tC I think is 32 front, 30 rear.

Even for 18" and a different tire??? The sticker only tells me for stock 17" with 215/45/17 tires.

tire size and rim plays no effect on what the PSI should be. In the 40s is WAY to high. You will go through tires in no time at all and wear out in the middle first.

Incase you dont believe me, a simple google brings up thousands of webpages that say what I did.
Here are three reputable sources.

tire size and rim plays no effect on what the PSI should be.

Nick06TC has some good information but there should be a little clearification. What determines the correct PSI for your tires is a couple of things. One is the vehicles weight (provided by vehicle manufacture) and two is Tire Size. Now you can call the vehicle manufacture, i.e a dealer, and they should be able to get you the correct tire pressure as specified by them. (they currently determine it by math) I would also call the tire manufacture just to double check. Different tire compounds might run optim at different pressures and always watch your wear pattern.

One more thing Also remember the recomended pressures are only valid if you are running the correct width of wheel for your tire, If the wheel is too narrow or too wide for the tire the tread wear, life and performance will be effected. So, Technically speaking, wheels do come into play here too.

To make this easier, I'd ask who ever i bought the wheels and tires from.

The wheels are the OEM upgrade rims so there is no issues, Max PSI for my Kumhos are 50, I have them 31 front 29 rear.
