Questions on Wheel Spacers on Enkei Super 7's (OEM 18" Rims)

Well I want to push my wheels out a bit, ive read 8mm is the max you can push the stockies. Since the Super 7's use the OEM lugs 8mm would be the max too right?? Any problems if I run wheel spacers??

I read that Kics is a good brand, so are these spacers in the link good?

8mm is not just for stock wheels, 8mm is for the stock studs, any further you are suppose to get extended studs.

Ahh I see then im good with the ones I listed?? Or will I need anything else? I read you need hub centric ring. But thats when you get extended studs right?

DJ08tC 04-14-2010 11:39 PM

you get the extended studs because anything over 8mm will push the wheel out to far and there will not be enough threads to properly tighten the lug nuts to

i run 5mm spacers that help me clear my wilwoods and there has been no problems with them that i have noticed and in my opinion it looked almost flush and pretty good.

Awesome :)

So I dont need hubcentric rings??

Just get the 8mm I listed and im good to go?

RusWolf 04-15-2010 01:13 AM

i'm not sure about 8 my friend, i can only vouch for 5 mm.

_NeXuS_ 04-15-2010 01:35 AM

Hmmm alright. Can someone confirm if I need with 8mm?

dqlostsoulz 04-15-2010 02:03 AM

I have ran 8mm with no problems just torq them down.

_NeXuS_ 04-15-2010 05:48 AM

What do you mean by torq them down?

Just take off the wheel and slap the spacer and put the wheel back on right...

dqlostsoulz 04-15-2010 05:56 AM

yeah. Just tighten them more often to be on the safe side.

_NeXuS_ 04-15-2010 05:58 AM

Ohh I get it just retight my stock lugs often when I run the spacers right?

dqlostsoulz 04-15-2010 06:07 AM

yeah use a torq wrench and torq it down to 75ft/lb

_NeXuS_ 04-15-2010 06:55 AM
