Default quick question about painting my rims black

Hey guys so I was wondering if it was possible to paint the rims without taking it off the car. I do not have a jack and I wasn't looking to spend a lot of money.

Thanks.

true, ^^ that is a large thread on painting wheels/rims. But to add my two cents, I personally think trying to paint them without taking them off the car. Sure it could be done, but if you have no other option, then you'll need a lot of careful masking off the rest of the car so you dont get unintentional over-spray. Plus you'll have to be careful about not getting overspray onto the braking surface on the rotors. Sure it would probably shave that back off once you're driving and apply the brakes. I think it would be best to avoid having that happen.

What happened to the scissor jack in your trunk? Not as ideal as a floor jack but it works fine. And if you have ~$30 to spend on paint you can drop another $30 on jackstands.
Honestly it could be done on the car like Mouse said but it will be a major pain and I don't feel the extra frustration is worth saving a little money over.

I dont think he will be saying anything anymore. Ive noticed alot of new members join just to ask the same questions that are being asked under their new thread and when they get some type of help they never reply saying thanks or to give us an update.
