Default Rare JDM SSR GP-0 Evolution

Hey guys, Since I always come here looking for answers, and I am proud to say that scionlife has helped me a LOT! Since I first got my car; I thought that I should first come here and ask for all of your help before making my next decision.

Okay Since last October my car was in a pretty bad crash, because of some random basturd driver, some rain and some tire slippage. My car has been running around with my rear bumper held by tiestraps and rear left fender looking like a snickers bar for well over a year, well FINALLY my Insurance decided to pay. So I'm getting my car fixed YEY! but more to the point, I want to give it a fresh new look, so I thought rims.

While shopping last year before my crash, I stumbled upon some very rare wheels. As you can see in the Title they are "SSR GP-0 Evolution" I checked them and everything and I simply fell in love with the wheels!

What is so special about these wheels, you might ask?
1-Well for starters they are 3 piece wheels
2-They are Pre-SSR's economic crash so that makes them very rare.

okay as you can see they are in very good condition, BECAUSE THEY'RE BRAND SPANKING NEW!!! they are out of the box NEW WHEELS!!!!!!!

So I can say I stumbled upon the LAST, NEW, GP-0 Evolutions of this side of the hemisphere, Don't know If they are the last set, But Im pretty sure they are, because these wheels haven't even touched car lugs, aniways...

It still is not over yet, apart from this... They are giving me a VERY SWEET DEAL on them... I will not talk price But to say the least... they are gonna cost less than the tires Im planning to buy 'em = TOYO T1R

But there is a Deal breaker ... The Store Manager... LOST 3 of the Center Theta Caps and 2 of the Covering lids that are tied down by these caps, So the wheels are coming with only 1 Center cap and two cover lids

Explained here:

Size: 208.0 KB

Bright Orange Color = Covering Lids
Bright Red= Center Theta Caps

Oooooh And I finally Forgot, the wheels,(If my memory serves me right) are 17x7 +37 all around.. But... I'm not so sure about the offset... aniways

what do you guys think?

Should I BIte?

nice wheels. i had a set of GP-Thetas (that O is the Greek letter Theta) back in the 90s. great wheels, but the fitment you described is no good for a tC. would look nice on a 90's car. not having all the centercaps is no bueno.

On the Covering Lids note, I can make the missing pieces out of Fiber glass If he doesn't find them... I would just need the Mold which Will be one of the two that I will be given, so thats the least of my worries

your never going to find that cap... i dont think its worth it because alot of the value is in the caps since its the part most ppl lose. if you like them fine but personally i dont think that would be a good old school wheel for the tc.. if he sells them dirt cheap then maybe but i would flip them for cash first before considering taking the plunge on a cap thats not easily replaceable.

Mine has TRD Springs LoL!! its not that high, but still, I'm getting some Tokico Hp Struts because 3 of the stocks gave out... Thinking I want something simple, and Coilovers here is just begging for trouble, We here have the worst streets ever, potholes everywhere, ridiculously badly made speed bumps every 5 secs.., cracks... the works

I'm pushing it as it is here's a pic from my fb:

its not that high as it might seem, but the stock wheels Tuck too much in :/

You can add me if youlike I'm all up for the scion brotherhood

yea i have to agree if you are going to get them, you need to go lower than TRDs. At least to go to a no finger gap to make them look good.
