My stock Yokos have lasted around 31K miles now with a few more to go. I wanted to know what is out there that can last longer and is a good allround all season tire. I pretty much use the car as a commuter. Didn't see any sticky on this nor anything turned up in search. In the tire review thread there is not much to see either.

 

wow 31k seems a little low, i got about 60k out of my stock tires. i just replaced em last week with some kumohs or however u spell it.. so far so good i dont have any complains other than the fact that they rub. but thats because theyre 225 and im lowered

 

60K never heard that much on a tc..

 

I have Kumhos and they are really good! Wet and dry, traction is good.
A lot more quiet than the Falkens I had previously. discounttiredirect.com
usually has them for cheap to.

i myself powerslide and do 360's in the rain in parking lots lol

 

Our tC has low profile Z-rated tires which makes them low mileage - usually 20K

whats a good recommended tire for wet and dry traction?

we dont get much rain out here in so cal, but still it would be nice to have a good tire for when the rain does come down

so far ive seen that the kumhos are alright

anything else?

 

can you all report the mileage you expect/got out of these? I use it for commuting so I am looking for more like an allround tire.

 

ive had a brand named Fierce, i think theyre made by goodyear if im not mistaken

good traction in the dry, in the wet not so much

but i only paid like 410 for 4 tires installed at Allen tire

What tire is good with wet and dry traction, maybe something comparable to proxes 4 or even better

$3 bucks more for the super sport and lil better tread life not a bad tire

 

I had the proxes 4 on my car before the fierce tires, really liked how they handled both wet an dry. I was too inpatient to wait foe the proxes to get in stock.
