Req: Aggressive wheel stance pics
R33s were the only GTRs that could have been legalized in the US. Majority of people tried to bring GTRs over by parts and then assemble them as a kit car. But the government caught onto the loop hole and fixed it. In order for you to legalize a foreign car, you have to test crash two. So basically your paying 3 times the amount of the original price to legalize a foreign car. There are a handful of guys in Chicago that own GTRs and at least three guys have legit Silvias.
saw a s15 in irwindale with AZ plates, and the r34 could be in US but not the GTR version. but there ARE some GTRs that made it in the country prior to when they started cracking down on JDM imports

Why are there more r32's than r33's?
within my community, i know over 20 rhd cars easily, all legit.
we had 5 skylines, 2 pulsars, evo 7 and an rx7 yesterday and thats not even half of it that was at the show..
From what i heard, MotoRex was the only company that was given the legal authority to do crash testing on the R34 to legalize the R34 in the United States. However, the demand for the R34 was very high and they sold some on the black market. They got caught before they could finish the testing and no other company got the legal authority to make the R34 legal in the US.
I've seen 2 R34's in person (out on the street, not in shows) that both claimed they were GT-Rs. I wonder if that was true

the only thing not aggressive about that sylvia is the front brakes... and the body kit, and ... the fact that the rear wheel is gonna slam into the fender if he tires to turn too hard?

I've seen over 10 skylines in new jersey alone.
for te37's, thats pretty aggressive, that one wheel is more than a down payment on a scion lol
also depends on how tight his suspension is and if his fenders are rolled
So do you think the Skylines you saw were legal? Flint said his bro's boy has 1 that is registered in the US. I saw a GT-T for sale on AutoTrader a while back but the owner didn't post any info as far as it being registered.
