Hayseed which xxr rims are you going with?

 

I'm debating between 527's in 9.75 wide and 526's in 10 wide. Also debating between 17's or 18's. I'll decide once I get my tax return.

I like the 522's and their price but I couldnt find the offset I wanted without having to run a 5x114 adapter... But the 527's and 526's have mean offsets at et20/25. I'll probably run 5mm spacers up front and 8mm in the rear

 

Yea I Was iffy about running 5x114 adapter on these rims I wanted and also the shop told me they wouldn't recommend it, that's the only thing about the xxr 522 the offset isn't all that crazy, but I'm about to throw 8mm spacers on the rear and still debating if i should throw 5mm spacers up front

 

Running adapters is the same as running spacers. There's nothing wring with them.

 

Yeah adapters are pretty much the same thing as spacers. They're just a pain to put on.

 

You've been running them all around on your tC (which is your daily?) for a loooonng time now, right? No complaints?

 

BTW, I'm trying to remember that website that sells refinished japanese wheels. Can anyone help me out?

Yea I've been running them for 4 years now on and off (both spacers and adapters) with no problems at all.
