I want to know why everyone is for replica wheels? I thought i would at least get some supporters.

I think you missed the point. The gist of what we're saying is that people's personal preferences are just that--personal.

 

Looking at the wheeldude website, rota grids are 1 thousand. If you save like 200-300 more you can get yourself quality wheels like enkei; brand new! You saved up 9/10ths already, is it too hard to save up the other 1/10th?

 

^The fitment Enkei offers for the 5x100 pattern for the tC is not aggressive enough for what some are looking for. If they do it's done in group buys of 15-20 sets maybe once a year. Since this is an aggressive wheel thread Enkei is not an option with the exception of mentioned group buy. That's where Rota has gotten the popularity.

 

^^Not everyone wants a mid-range wheel that looks like our stock wheels. :-/

 

^That too, the other group buy to be for Enkei was what looked like an OEM G35 wheel.

 

There are a variety of wheels out there for the taking and at a reasonable price. You saved up most for it, why not just continue to save to get them?

For those of you that buy wheels for looks/attention, do you think grids get more attention or volk te37? or torques vs work emotion cr kai?
