Soooo what happened to this? It really sucks that nobody stuck to this because it would have REALLY helped a lot of people, including myself, that doesn't have the knowledge a lot of you guys do. A lot of you guys have beautiful cars with amazing fitment. You could be doing a lot to help fellow owners and also the community. Just my two cents. Hope you guys see my point.

NEW RULES

If you are posting pictures, post specs as well or the pictures will be deleted. No one is learning from pics if there are no specs to go with them. Here is an example of stats that should be listed.

Rim Brand: Enkei Rim Style: RPF1 Sizing:18x9.5 +38 Camber: F:-1 R:-1 Tire Size: 275/40/18 Tire Brand: Nitto Tire Style: NT05

Also, if you are running spacers, mention it, as that will affect the offset.

What happened is me not wanting to deal with having to delete almost every single post and listening to people complain about it.

There's a reason the tape measure was created, put it to use. Figuring ____ out is the fun part, if it's given you won't have any stories to tell.

It has nothing to do with that, if someones undecided, and has a couple sizes in mind, having pictures and visuals to look at helps.

This is a forum...

People are here to talk about their similar interests and help each other, if everyone wanted to learn and ____ up on their own then we wouldnt even have this thread, hell, we wouldnt even really have a forum.

Ordered my wheels. Specs will be 17 x 9.5 +25. What tire size do you think I should get? I was thinking 215/40/17.

^Not hating on you personally,

but for those of you questioning the spec rule, this is a perfect example.

If everyone listed everything, users with questions could easily browse the thread and see visual examples of setups, especially since diff. brand tires stretch diff, etc.

Then we wouldnt have all the what size this and what size that questions on every page.

Or you could just go here:

http://www.tyrestretch.com/ or http://www.willtheyfit.com/

Not trying to be a smart ___ but there are specific databases specifically meant for tire stretch and offset.

exactly.

this is a SCION forum, people come here to learn and talk about SCIONS.

(just an example) I could care less how a 18x9.5 +35 fits on a 240SX or and Audi or whatever if i dont own one, every car has several diff variables that affect what will and will not fit.

But you can use logic and put in the stock wheel specs and then put in the wheel specs you want to compare them too. Its not meant to show what it looks like on your car but how it compares to your current wheel set up.
