i raised it a little because it was literally undriveable for me and the places i have to go.

might dial it in a little lower this weekend.

Not to take from Jona Jay's S:N feature, but the writers at Canibeat are leaps and bounds better than the pedantic, ubiquitous dribble S:N churns out on a daily basis. Nice to see someone outside the Scion world respect the work that Sam has done, even if it is to a tc. Props on the work and for giving tc's a better name, Sam.

I'll withhold my opinion on Canibeat or the car, but I will say that I would have loved to see some polished lip, even if he kept the face white, on those BBS'.

 

Hell I'm just comparing the two from a writing standpoint. At least the canibeat writers try to catch the reader's interest.

the first pic is pretty much the best i have.
but from what i understand once you get to certain offset on RPF1S (dont remember what it is exactly) the concave/lip doesnt change. Its either concave or convex.

I hate how anytime a tc is shown on S:W the poorly written paragraph always begins with a caveat as to why its actually ok to feature a tc.

I say that all the time. That's why I don't like these stance sites. I'm starting to even hate the word itself. I can tolerate SW and Canibeat, but that's all. And although trolls have invaded SW to a degree, I can't be out ____-talked so they don't intimidate me lol.

I wouldn't go that far. Most of the regular posters on here aren't ricing their cars out as of late. They may not be heavily modified with high end wheels, but at least it's not like it was a few years ago.

 

"As of late..." It's gonna take a while to change the tC's scarred reputation.

 

Personally I think now is when the real enthusiast make themselves known. Seeing how the TC is 5-years old. Most of the hype about them has all but died down and the real tuners and modders can show the real potential these cars have.

Most people have sold their car and moved on but those who still own one can now be unique again and not played-out with poor-taste of parts or disgusting body-kits and lights. There are a decent amount of tasteful mods that can be added to the car to keep it clean and simple or in my case boosted and clean.
