It's amazing how much I DON'T know about this stuff. Will any shop do this?

Pete... If you still have these when I save up some more cash, I'm holding you to that drive.

that is a weak stretch so a shop will have no problems doing that

some interesting pics for anyone interested

these are shots of my front left fender well, ghetto rolled and slightly pulled, front bumper/fender tab completely shaved and zip tied!

rather then take out my fender liners, over the coarse of a week or so, i slowly chopped piece by piece until the rubbing on dips and bumps went away, this is what i cut out, these were low tire/liner clearance zones for anyone looking where the rubbing is coming from

pic of my ghetto roll and all the paint missing is from turning, the fender basically sits on the tire as im turning, lol, its really funny when its raining cuz the water makes the tire/fender squeak! all you hear is SSSSQQUUUEEEEEEEEEEEk, lol

riding on one perch, but with the F&Fs the lower mount acctually locks the perch in place, i can still go about an inch lower as you can see by the threads left

Hey does taking one ring off the coil affect the shocks in any bad way? I just started cuting the plastic piece under the spring. It sits alot stiffer and doesnt bounce now.

you should never cut spring, theyre a certain length for a reason.
it will mess up your spring rates

^huh???

are you talking about the perches? if so, then yes and no, perches should only be removed if you still have some way of locking the springs perch in place, and no, it shouldnt affect anything

i have 1/3 rings in the rear, like chico said, you just need to make sure there is some way to lock it still.

its hard to say, because every company uses diff. designs

I am sure its the bump stop that i cut. It made my ride less bouncy and alittle lower. It actually rubs my fenders now. I was affraid to take out a ring from the coil.
