Well part of the process is that they have to move that TPMS to each new wheel. And it is possible those Reverbs are not necessarily compatible with TPMS to begin with. Have you gone to the dealer for anything to see what they say? I mean, really... Mieneke? Walmart?

I work at a merchants tire here in Virginia. Since you are using the stock tires, it really shouldnt be that big of an issue. Moving the sensors take literally 2 minutes a rim. If they fit on the rims you want, the price you should be looking at it close to 9.99 per wheel for balance and 4/10 of an hour labor for the tpms swap. 130 is wayyy too much for that. they are trying to rip you off. Balancing tires is virtually all profit so the more they can sucker you for the more they get. Now if the tpms dont fit the rims then you are SOL. I know a guy who didn't want his light on so he literally put the sensors all inside the wheel of the spare and aired it up to 33psi. Light is out, but the sensors really don't do ____.

the Meinekee around my house does great work, i've had them customize my exhaust, and do my axles, infact they welded in a resonator, fixed all my hangers so that my exhaust wouldnt touch my bumper, and moved my 02 sensor so that my exhaust wouldnt rattle all for $70, and then they did the labor on my axles for $200 and i got the parts somewhere else for 300 i love this Meinekee

Dealers should know how to mount and balance your tires man. Just be prepared to bend over. Dealers aren't known for thier prices. Atleast not where i live.

i work at a dealer and i do wheels and tires all the time. any good tech can dismount, mount and re balance a set of 4 tires in under an hour or close to it. i forgot how much our shop labor is but its close to $100 an hour. so yea its gonna be somethin around what said you were quoted at a dealer.

some wheels will not work with tpms because of the way the wheel sensor sits in the rim and the tpms computer will not recieve the signal.

i don't know if you have some hole in the wall tire shops in your area. we have some here that will dismount tires for like $20. then remount for $20 and then balance for $20 so that will be what your willing to pay.

If they try to break the bead next to the valve stem, the bead breaker will usually hit and damage the TPMS sensor. Most tire places are learning the hard way that all vehicles past 2007 have a TPMS sensor in the wheel. (I think they passed that law )

Dealer? They should warranty against breaking them. Might save you the cost difference for not having to buy another sensor.
