not only is this statement silly it is a slippery slope.

1. so you are saying if you have debt, do not buy new clothes, do not buy shoes, do not go out to eat, live bare bones, eat tuna and crackers every night to survive until you have no debt. Do not buy any thing above the bare minimum to survive. That's is your argument. Silly. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, and it seems emotion was clouding your judgment. 2. Student debt is not credit card debt. With a rate of 4.5% leaving student debt and slowing paying that down is smarter and utilizing the money in a higher return investment vehicle is more advantageous. Your argument would stand if it was a credit card debt @ ~20.

 

How do you honestly compare credit card debt to student loans?

i was stating they are different, with one being more detrimental than the other. If you would have read more closely you would have gleaned that inference.

And there is nothing wrong with wheel nut huggers. The world is made of all types of people. Huggers and those who do not hug.

 

regardless of type, i think you'd be better off putting your money towards debt than wheels. you said it yourself.

 

So...in retrospect:

Italy bag > Made in China Bag

JDM 3 piece wheels > wheels made in the Philippines
