Holy crap! Over $1k for new tires?! What tire??
Stock tire size is 215/45/17. A lot of us will run a little wider 225/45/17 on the OEM wheels just to get a little more rubber on the road.
But Tire Rack lists a 215/45/17 as the recommended size for the RPF1 anyway... so you should be OK on the 7.5" wheel. No need for new tires.
