22's look stupid on any car IMO (even SUV's). Actually, IMO anything over an 18 is getting dumb on a passenger car and anything too much larger is even dumb on a truck. Granted, this is just my opinion, but you kill a lot of your handling, ride comfort and increase the risk of bending one of those rims on top of looking bad. Not my thing at all. And "donk"... well I have to say that I am amazed anyone thinks that is remotely nice looking on anything. I see it purely as a way of saying "look at how much money I spent on rims"... or better off "look at how I maxed out the credit card this week!" :p Ihonestly, truely thought that "donk" was a joke when I saw it... little did I know people actually thought that was cool looking... of course I have never met anyone outside of a wannabe gangsta that did think it was cool.......
^ agreed.
There's a guy on the cleaning crew at my office who drives a Lincolin Continental lifted with 28's and its a joke. He can barely turn the damn thing pulling out of the lot.

While we are on the subject of Ultimate-Bling-Donk-Dub-or-What-the-F@#$-ever-____ness
Please check out the video link (If You haven't seen it already somewhere else) to see the total stupidity of people who think that they have constructed "performance" vehicles with these "accessories".

That is the vid I was talking about :D Idiots with credit cards that dont know anything about a car and want to show off the money they wish they had will do the stupidest things. It makes the car look like a joke and makes it unsafe as hell unless done completely right, which most of them dont do since they know jack about it to start with. Some shop will take thier money and make an unsafe joke of a ride out of it.

On some cars, you can use 19" and 20" wheels and still look ok. It all depends on the well size... for example, G35 owners who go to 19" wheels actually look pretty decent. In fact, it seems there's still more room. They could probably go to 20" without being out of place... although I'd imagine the hit on performance would be quite a bit.
I love it when people get 24's, 26s, etc. and wonder why they can't stop worth a crap
Normally, I believe in the individual freedom to show off your stupidity/poor taste... but I find bling-mobiles to be a danger to others on the road. If you severely reduce stopping/turning/etc performance of your car, that's not safe to other people on the road.
So basically, get off the road. Kthxbye

As for the tC... this is how I personally see them: 17's are pretty damn nice for OEM. 18's usually look best with still a decent ride quality. 19's for mostly show. 20's for trailer queens. Anything over that is a total waste.
whoa too big IMO.
I dont see what the attraction is with oversized wheels on cars?
I think 18"s are ideal looking depending on the rim design i.e. small lip and 19" for wheels with large lips.
however 20" with small lips isout of proportion with the car chasis. IMO might look alright with 20" rims and big lips. but IMHO those wheels just look too odd with the tc.
big wheels look nice chromed out on suvs and hummers, and roadsters, however the tc doesnt look right with 20"s

.. were all entitled to our opinions, i didnt think i would like them honestly but in person they look so mean!!.
22's on the tC would look horrible. Monster truck wheels on any car makes me want to cry. I say 18's are as high as you want to go before you start making the car look silly. I have seen some 19's on the tC that have looked nice in a few cases, but certianly NEVER over 19's on the tC.
