Again, I wasnt saying what you did would tear up your car. But it is worse than stock performance wise. And you are cool with that which is great. But I was referring more to the person comparing the setup for the ferrari, which is a totally different scenario.

 

first time Ive seen 20"s on a tc that looked good.

i suppose it depends. black rims and big lips make the wheels look smaller, and you have a sick drop so it doesnt look bad at all. plus you have custom body paint so it makes the car more sportier looking and rolled fenders keeps you dropped. but IMO id hate to drive that car as a daily driver. you must have trouble driving around bumps in the road and hills.

nice car, not diggin the reverse cowl hood though.:p

but if someone were to get 20" light colored or chrome rims, that that looks out of place.

22" would be out of the question

forget the performance aspect. i didnt care about perforamnce when i put the rims on. i didnt care about performance when i put the turbo kit on. i just like the way both things look on the car and i like the sound of the turbo. i dont even race my car.. almost anything aftermarket is gonna add additional stress on your vehicle so most of this is irrelevant.

and hey i think my 20's look good. rolling the fenders on the tc is unnecessary for the most part. the fender walls are super thin to start with.

Yeah 20's on a tC are way to big. I mean how can you run that car like that everyday or how can you lower it that much without damaging stuff... Oh wait I did it for 2 years...

IMO, 20"s look sweet on show cars only. If I see someone rollin' around with big rims, they'd better be clean otherwise they look like poop. As a daily driver, 20"s are just not practical.

 

mine is not DD anymore but even if it was id still rock them.
