Default Scion tC Wheels question

I have a question regarding these rims I saw online. I don't know if it'll and I wanted to ask if anyone know if these will fit. These are Volks TE37. Size is 18X7.5 and offset is 5X100. Would really appreciate any help.

No, not yet at least. that's the problem. My friend mentioned the bearings might get worned and the tires might rub. He suggest fender roll. Is there another way without fender rolling?

You need to find out the offset of the wheels that you are looking at otherwise we will not be able to tell you if the wheels will fit.

According to that, at 18x7.5, in our PCD, the offset is +48. It will fit, but the wheel will sit far in the fender. A better size is the 17x8 +38. It's the best possible choice for our tC's.

Ah, you're from the bay? I remember this guy put them up for sale a while back ago. I guess they didn't sell and he's trying again.

But to answer your question, they will fit fine. They'll be flush with the fenders and it will look awesome. Depending on what you're lowered on, you may or may not rub. I'd pick them up regardless though because they're just badbutt wheels. What suspension are you running?

stock, planning on lowering it. According to my friend, he said its better to fender roll. I also wanted to go at least 1"1/2 drop.

With a lowering as tame as the TRD (1-1.5in), you should be fine without rolling the fenders. I'm warning you now though, you won't be happy with just a subtle drop. You'll be wanting more after a few months. If you were to go with the TRD drop or similar, you would only rub on very severe dips or bumps in the road. Just be a little cautious while driving and you'll be fine.
