will sixteen inch wheels fit the tC with stock brakes? i can get a great deal on some 16x7 inch wheels that only weigh 11lbs...THAT IS LIGHT. so will they fit, and would they look ugly

 

why would u go down one inch to a 16 inch? most people would only go higher than a 17..if it is 16, then i guess it would look ugly. it's just me, but if u want to go 16 then it's ur choice.

well i plan to spend 3k or less on rims...so if i get these 16's ill be spending 2400 with tires...or i might go with 18inch volk le37t's...not sure what color, most likely gun metal...i dont wanna do too much to the car, just make it look clean

 

jesus man, I only spent $1420 for 19x8's and tires shipped, mounted, balanced, and 4-wheel alignment. With that budget you could get just about and setup less designer hoops.

Go big cause later on if you decide to get a BBK (big brake kit) you're gonna wish you had bigger wheels. Just my .02

 

Oh course they will fit. I run 15 x 8 inch Kosei K1's with a 35 offset and 225-50-15 inch BFG Drag radials for tires at the track. You will have no problem fiting 16's on there.

16's are a great idea espically on a car thats heavy for its class. Less rotating mass and less unsprung weight = better accelration, ligther steering feel, increased performance overall. 17's are already pushing it on the tC and going any bigger is just a dumb idea.
