Default So i have a problem with my rims...

I ordered and recieved a set of 18" Diablo Racing XLR8 wheels just recently..when i saw them, they looked NOTHING like the picture i had seen. the rims i were looking at were 20-22" which i didn't know at the time were the only sizes that had the chrome lip.

The 18"s that i received look okay, but i did spend 1800$ for them.
I'm getting thme put on the car just to see what they look like, but if i don't like them, the company said they're charging me 300$ for shipping and restocking fee?!

If i like the rims, fine by me, but if not should i pay the 300 and grab some 19"s...?

I was very interested in RacingHart even though they are very expensive, anyone can tell me which would look best on a Tein S-tech/kaminari body kit BSp tC?

My favorite is the CX Chrome/black

Put some pics of how they look.

R5-721 look pretty darn good or the CX Chrome/Black also looks good.

The one in the picture is the 20" which has a much bigger lip...

The one that i received only has about a 2" lip, nothing special, so i'm not sure if i should keep them or not, i'm also not sure of what they'd look like on the car

I just realized my boss messed up and paid me 2x what he was suppose to for this week so i think i might just send the Diablo rims back for 300$ and pick up some RacingHart 19"s depending on how expensive they are

You're complaining about a 2 inch lip? How much lip were you for? IMHO, those have heat! Keep'em and sport'em proud! BTW-I'm not for chrome rims, but daaaang, those are muy caliente! Post pics after install.

Plastic? (Meant at the manufacturer, not you.) You paid how much and got plastic?!! That blows. I thought that black piece was metal or alluminum. I too would send them back and get Racing Harts.

99.9% of all pictures of rims being sold by a manufacture use the largest and widest version.....im not suprised the picture was misleading.
thier is a huge huge difference in the way a 18"19" and 20" and up rim will look, sometimes they look nothing like the larger size, alot of times they use the same diameter hub/ center, but the spoke is forced to be smaller because the diameter of the rims is smaller (i hope you all understand what im trying to get at)

Not to throw salt in the wound, did i not say awhile back that those (diablo and those type of rims) are junk......plastic inserts? cheap cheap, dont mount them send them back and get something else, also anything larger then a 3 inch lip on a 18" rim is going to make the rim look really wierd...

2 inches is really all that width can handle, I know you all see the 5-8" lips on the BMWs and stuff, but alot of times the rims are like 20x11 in the rear.......

in this picture that is a 22x10 inch rim, you will never beable to achive that look with a 18x8 inch rims, BUT if you pick up this monthes modified their is a TC with a 20x10 inch rims in the rear........HOTTTTTTTTTTTT.
