Currently, i'm running +40 offset wheels with 25mm spacers all around.
It seems like the back needs some more after considering the camber.
I was wondering if anyone attempted to put another separate spacer on the bottom of the bolt one (big ones, such as 20~25mm).
I don't want to purchase a separate 30mm spacer wasting $100.
If anyone attempted this method, let me know and give me some results.

*Some of you guys might say "should've just bought better offset wheels," but the wheels that i chose only comes in +40 offset for 5x100 and was a wheel of my choice

 

Don't do it very unsafe.

 

What size spacer do you have rite now? I wouldnt do it, it does sound unsafe. But if you do end up doing it install extended studs just to be ''safe''.
What does the avrge 20-25mm spacer cost?

the 5mm spacers i'm talking is about the ones you just put it in without any screws or so.
hmmm....still thinking...or thinking if i should go with 30mm spacers...

because it's just bolt on w/ out any bolt or anything. and on top of that, the 25mm will be on.

 

honestly i dont see a problem with it. theres a lot of talk about it being unsafe. but really....i dont know never tried.

 

ur right. a lot of people say it's unsafe but no one every tried.
it does sound dangerous though.

I was planning to just get a pair of 5mm that are hubcentric and just bolt them on my rear 25 hubcentric spacers. will be a perfect fit, but worry about the studs not being long enough

a friend of mine stacked a couple spacers and even had a few slide sessions in his SC300. although, it's not ideal, i don't think it'll be a problem. night87, best thing to do is just sell your wheels and get an aggressive set that doesn't need spacers.

 

yea i know that for sure lol
but i want to stick to what i have right now because it's pretty rare to see a tC have these. blah~ wateva. i'll juss see how it goes.

 

just save up and get better rims a lots of rims have not been on the tc yet!..
