Default STi Wheels on a tC

Hey guys, I'm new here
I Have a 2005 Silver tC.
And I have been looking for some rims to get for my car
I have always loved Sti's, and Subaru's in general
And I recently found out I can fit the wheels from an 04 STi on my car
I got this picture of a Silver tC and Photoshop them on
I also tinted the tailights (Like mine) and made the tires look thinner

I know some people have requested this
Here it is. Let me know what you guys think!

Thanks

STI wheels are sexy and high quality stuff:

you can also look for wrx wheels they are 5x100 also, i think up to 2005 or 2007

here is my TC with subaru WRX wheels (dealership upgrade)

Nice try...but those are MB Weapons brotato; not 'WRX Wheels'

And whatever dealer you bought them from as a dealership upgrade ripped you off.

Sorry to break the news to you this way. They do look nice, but are definitely not 'WRX Wheels'

I hope so, dealers can be very shady sometimes just to earn a buck.

Dealers can also be a wonderful place too; remember to do your research class!

Didn't know that '04 was the only or last year for a 5x100 pattern for the STi. I have yet to see a 5x100 STi wheel, all I run into is 5x114, I've thought of it but going with another wheel.

if the offset is between 35-42 then it would fit nice... I got my set from a subie guy which the offset is 48, kinda hates the high offset, finally I did a trade with one guy for a set with ET35 which fit much nicer, but still like to add maybe a 1/4" spacer to it still. double check the ET on those before you get it!

04 STi wheels are in high demand since all the regular 5x100 WRX owners want them. there's a noticeable price difference between the 5x114.3 and 5x100 STi wheels.

Or should I rock the matte bronze rota DPT's?
This was my original choice
But they are pretty pricey

Hey all!

I got the rims of craiglist. The owner had aWRX. He told me he purchased the rims through the dealership as an upgrade. when they installed them, they actually scratched one, so the owner made the dealership buy him another one. I bought them, 5 rims in total, with almost new tires for $450.00! Great find on craiglist. Then resold them...bad mistake I actually miss them. but they were heavy as ***

I remember a LONG time ago, there was a thread on here where someone had silver '04 STi wheels on a tC. It looked okay, because they were kind of sunken in (fitment wasn't all that great); I think the '04s are 17x7.5 +53 offset. This means the STi wheels will be more sunken in than the stock tC wheels by 2mm.

^Stock tC wheels are 17x7 +45. 53-45=8, that's more than 2mm sunken in.
