Stock car w/ spacers
Hey everyone, I've got a 2006 tC in black cherry. It's entirely stock, but recently I decided to try and make the car look a little more aggressive. One of my buddies had mentioned throwing some spacers on to make the car look a little beefier. I've been browsing the forums and i've read most of the spacer posts, but most of those posts are from people who have aftermarket rims/tires, lowered car, or body kits. My car is completely stock at the moment, and i don't have the money to be spending on body kits or rims, hence why spacers was thrown out as a cheap mod idea. (I've just had the windows tinted, and have been contemplating putting a carbon fiber hood on it, we think the carbon fiber would look sweet against the black cherry of the car)
From what i've been reading, most people have been saying 10mm front and 15mm rear, but i wanted to know if anyone has done this to a stock tC or if anyone has any pictures. I also don't know if those numbers would work on a stock car, or if those are more geared towards people w/ body kits and whatnot.
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

i think if you're looking for a "cheap"-ish mod to make it look more aggressive, you have to, have to, HAVE to get lowering springs. they dont cost that much, and if you know how, can install it yourself, or i'm sure you can find someone on here that will help you or do it for you for not TOO much.
forget the spacers and get springs first.

I'd say only get the spacers if looks are more important to you than performance. Spacers change the suspension geometry, affect spring rates and increases bearing loads. Conversely, having the wheels further out also makes it look a bit better and gives a bit wider track. It's a trade-off, each person has to decide what's best for themselves. TRD springs are inexpensive too and would do more for appearance than spacers, imo.

thanks for all the replies!
I think i've decided to do the lowering springs, and thanks to the posts from dqlostsoulz, do the 20mm on front and back.
The pictures in the posts you threw up were a great help!

DonNguyen: why do you suggest not doing 20mm all around? Both of these posts are 20mm front & back and IMO they look great:
