Hey, I've done a search on this and haven't found anything...but I recently got a new 07 FM tc, and I'm having a lot of problems with the plastic cap that goes in the center of the stock wheel (not sure what it's actually called). But anyway, about three days after I recieved the car, I was walking to my it in a parking lot and noticed the one which goes to my left front wheel lying on the ground, along with some of the pieces that go to it.

I took this to my dealer and, after quite a bit of arguing, they agreed to replace the piece under warranty (they tried to say someone either vandalised it). After replacing this piece, I broke a second one (left rear) about a week later while washing the tire. Since I broke this one myself, I paid for it (which was 18 freaking dollars at the dealership).

Now, just yesterday, I have noticed a third center cap (right front) has fallen off. This is getting to be really d*mn ridiculous. I haven't even had the car a month, and I've had to replace three different parts. At 18 bucks a pop, this could get expensive.

Anyone else had this problem? Maybe these parts are just junk. Anyone have any ideas/solutions?

never had a problem with my center caps falling off, this is the first case i think i've seen here.

 

had them on for over a year with no problem? Someone doesnt like your Scion?

 

That may be the case...one to go, and I'll have them all four replaced. Either way, it is getting a little ridiculous.

 

Leave them off...I took all 4 of my center caps off the stock wheels it looks better..more aftermarket-ish...
