Default Style 5s (bbs). BMW on tc - help ?adapters? Spacing ?

I have a set bbs style 5 wheels off my 5 series I'm Gonna refinish them and put them on my gf tc .

Question is how much of a spacer do I need in the front and back if I were to get alil stance ?

I'm gonna look for some lowering springs also and pretty much get her in the stanced flush look is what were going for.

It's been done more than once. I wouldn't recommend springs since you'll be at a -5 offset with adapters.

i ran them in the same specs Hayseed did (actually his old wheels) i used 20mm adpaters and had to cut my studs to sit flush. So they were 17x8 +0... prepare for fender work! lol

it completely depends on how long she is going to be. But from all the wheels i have run, everything from those 17x8 +0 to 17x10.5 +20 and 18x10's i have fully rolled my fenders, cut all tabs and cut the inside of my bumpers. Also i have no fender liners.

I bought my spacers from Adaptec USA

HKSpeed, I had the wheels drilled, still keeping the 5x120 pattern. The wheels just barely clear the calipers up front, it's close. The shop didn't drill the lug seat as deep as on my TRD wheels, forcing me to get extended wheel studs(because 4 turns just isn't safe to tighten down a wheel). I think one that was 5mm longer would have worked fine but went all out with ARP extended wheel studs for an IS300 because I plan on running spacers anyway. Plenty of pics of the setup can be found on my flickr page. The rears I had the fender rolled for minor tire rubbing, it could have been done without it if I had Falken 512s instead of the Capitols and a touch more negative camber(currently it's at about -1.7*)

Idea of expenses the route I went for those that want to compare with spacer adapters,
Wheel drill cost $200(if one shops around it can be done for less, the shop wanted to charge extra for filling the holes, so I told them just drill)
ARP extended wheel studs ~$120
Open end lug nuts ~$54
Hubcentric rings(aluminum) ~$20-$25

Why did I go that route, ARP makes strong wheel studs, and there's been posts of lugnuts being broken and sheared from OEM to those on the adapters themselves. Now I have the tC OEM 17s on my 89 Celica with 25mm H&R spacers in the rear and have had no problems for the year plus they've been installed, so there's other factors as to why some spacers/adapters have failed(improper install to just being defective).
