im helping my buddie change his clutch,and we noticed that to take off the axle nut,its a 12 point,deep socket,and no one sells that particular socket,we tried every where,the dealership wasnt helpful either....any adivce on how to get the nut off or where to buy the socket

I had to change mine out last week I snapped it in half.

Yeah you have to drop the sub frame unless you are pulling the engine and tranny from up top to change the clutch, even then you still might have to in order to reach certain bolts.

i just pulled the axle without taking the axle nut off. took the whole wheel assembly off, which also made it easier to pull the axle out because i was pulling on a huge bracket instead of just the axle. when i had it out i just strung it up and then took the trans out ^^
