Default tanabe df210's rim size?

for people that have the tanabe df210's and anybody that is well educated on suspension and wheel fitment, since i'm not...

the drop says that it's 1.7" in front and 2.2" in the back....how's the fitment with 19x8's or what about 18x8's?

would there be any issues?

would the htechs be better if i wanted to go with 19's?

I have this drop. I rub in the rear pretty much all the time. My liner is shot. with 19s you would definitely have a big problem.

i have 18x7.5x35 on 225/40/18s

i'm not familiar with h-techs, but with 19s on tanabe df210s, you'll have to roll the fenders, there's no other way.

I bought my set at www.hopupracing.com. They are very good company. I highly suggest you purchase aftermarket struts because you will eventually blow out your struts.

I didn't rub with 18x7.5 ET 35 until I blew my shocks two weeks ago. Now I rub on dips and certain turns. I will let you know if the problem gets solved when I install my new Tokico Blues this Saturday.

^^ word. I've been on Hotchkis for over a year and my struts are still good. I just wanna get these just in case my Hotchkis rust through like they do on a bunch of people.

how many miles did you run the springs until they blew your shocks?

kinda weird how you didn't rub before hand whereas i'm rubbing a lot.

I installed the springs March '07. I have put maybe about 15 to 20,000 miles since then.

It depends on your roads and how aggressive you take corners. If they have not blown yet, consider your self lucky. I'll post a review on the new struts to see if they are worth it or not.

The new struts are awesome. The ride is much stiffer and I bumps don't hurt as much as they did before. I definately recommmend them if you need to upgrade your struts. Also, the reason I rub up front now is because I have the Falken 912 is the front and it is a much wider tire than the 512's I use to have. THat is why I am rubbing now. The Faklken 512's do not rub with my suspension set-up.

I never rubbed with Falken 512's, but I rub now because I now run Falken 912's. The 912's are wider and the sidewalls are not as concave as they use to be in the 512's. If you can get your hands on 512's (Discount Tire) you will not rub, but the Falken 912's are sooo much better than the 512's. I'll deal with the slight rub for the performance upgrade.
