Question to you guys who are seriously tucked, yellow and ghostface - Does that take plenty of lowered driving experience to drive that low, or do you not give a damn?

So anyway, I painted two wheels graphite today. I still have to paint the inner parts black, add the wheel stripe, and clear. Just this little bit took like 3 hours today.

looks good jasper! FYI.. in the future.. to make things a little quicker.. use index cards in between the wheel and tire.. Some people use playing cards, but i prefer the larger index cards. Rather than spending an hour taping off a wheel perfectly you can simply stick the index cards in between the wheel and tire in about one minute, and its also a lot easier to remove them and use them on the other wheels as well.

this is not my wheel.. as you could tell by the newspaper.. lol

Thanks.

I'll probably do that for the next two. It did take a while to tape everything off. I notice that most people don't mask the inside of the wheel. Is there no overspray issue there? I did it just to play it safe.

Its graphite. I took some shots with my DSLR also. They look really shimmery in person. When using the paint, you can actually see flakes of glitter floating around. I'll snap some more photos when I continue the process later this week. With the little details and once-a-week work I'm doing on them, I don't expect to be finished until end of march.

Yeah. I don't have anywhere to do them at my apartment so I've been driving to my parents and putting a couple of hours in maybe once a week. And this is really my first time painting anything bigger than a badge so I'm trying to take my time. My stockies on my car will be painted next. It will probably be done much quicker now that I'm getting comfortable.

Not really. They're pretty dark. A nice shade between stock silver and black. And then these yellow stripes set them off:

Graphite next to stock:

The iPhone pics don't do them justice. They're darker than they look. I just wish they were powder coated like this. Knowing that they were done by rattle can makes me want to keep them off the car and I'm not even finished with the other two yet.

i do the insides of my wheels too. I primer the inside, then primer the outside. After that I paint the inside then paint the outside, then i clear the inside then the outside. lol. That way the outsides dont get overspray from the insides..

Touge Factory makes some. I'm not sure if that's where Jasper got em. Lotza colors available.

I only put two on the car and I decided that I don't like it. I don't know why just yet. So as of right now - these are up for sale.

I actually think they look good,... definitely different... maybe they look different in real life... but why would you just decide to sell them... if you're not too enthusiastic about them, just re-paint them... did you paint all four of them?... it might be difficult to sell two painted and two unfinished...

All four are painted. I'd rather just buy wheels than re-paint them. Ive had my eye on some Tenzo's for some time.
