tC Painted Stock Rims

i was thinking of painting some oem wheels a similar shade of gray/gunmetal along with the red in this design. sorry for the bad photoediting. might possibly even throw in a small scion decal and tC decal within the redzone before clearcoating, similar to the wedsports decal on the C-ONE wheels.

any opinions?

i'm in the process of looking for some oem wheels that are in good condition. it's going to be my summer project since i'm graduating this semester which means no more freakin' summer school. i'm hoping to get these done before i get my new tires. i have about 2-3000miles left on my current tires. any idea of how i should go about getting the paint?
well, you should cut a slightly larger piece, stick it on, then come up from underneath with a razor on a 45 degree angle and slice off the excess.
and as far as clear coat...its not really needed, but if you want to do it, id prob do it first.
just try to do the vinyls asap after the rims dry and cure fully, otherwise your gonna have brake dust and other gunk on there so the vinyl may not stick as well (even after you clean them, theres some build up on my stockies that is so bad it wont even come off anymore)

Hmm.. I really like your idea 10xgiong!
I too have a BCP and want to do something with my stockies, but can't come up with any reasonable ideas since it seems NOBODY on here has a BCP nowadays lol.
I'd like to buy a spare rim to experiment, but have no idea where to find one cheap. However, to color match the stripe to our paint code would look pretty sick IMO.
