tC Painted Stock Rims
so i'm gonna be painting my rims with duplicolor wheel paint and i'm wondering if i should get some clear coat to go along with that. any suggestions? Will clear coat give it a shiny glossy look?...cuz i'm not really lookin for that

It will give you a glossy look if you use alot.. I only used one can on all the wheels, and it isn't very glossy/shiny, just looks like the black paint. But you must use it because it protects the paint. your paint will chip much easier if you dont use clear coat. if you dont want that shiny look just do what i did and put 2 coats on the inside of the wheels, 4 on the outside, but use a light cover, not heavy. That will get you what you want...
For anyone else, if you want the opposite, get 2 cans, and use heavier coats

Bad Pictures but you guys get the idea. Painted Black metalic with Blue sand pearl mix in. Hope you guys like it. In direct sun light they look more bluish, no light, they look black. PLUS lol tired was a bit flat that day...
also there are no scratches on the rims or the paint job, I have no Idea why the first 2 pics look so bad...
Enjoy
