how did u do the red stripe? i was thinkin about doing that with my girls car but i wasnt sure how to do the stripe. i have a striping brush but i dont think i could get it perfect.

Hey there... I havent visited this thread in like forever and a day....but I do remember that someone did something very similar to this and how they did is was.... paint the entire wheel black...like this one.... then after fully drying and BEFORE applying the clear coat... they used automotive thick pin-striping coloured red with the adhesive backing... THEN after that was on straight/even .... they applied a few coats of clear to protect the wheel AND to keep the pin-striping tape securely in place....not a bad idea IMO...a cheap easy way to do the rim stripe.

hey has any1 powdercoated theirs like charcoal like?
cuz i have a BIG A** oven enough to fit me lol and i was wondering if i could do that but also i only wanna paint the spokes in a line up to the lip then the rest prolly in the dark cherry pearl that is my car's color...i can make colors too my friend's dad owns a shop.
but still has any1 tried this?
