BTW love the 15" when i started i wanted to go 16" but realized it just wouldn't look right with what i was trying to do.

thanks kanchi. what were you trying to do?? 16 and 15 inch wheels are kinda overboard because of the wheel gap which is why i had those huge 195/65's on them to help fill the gap.


chico.. yea they are 6.5 wide FTL ... they would be ok for radials and slicks but for daily driving sometimes taking corners or catch traction is tricky but very comfy and acceleration is definitely a noticeable upgrade.

Maybe its just me but doesnt the rear wheel seem a little crooked?

 

lol i've never weighed them but im saving up for new tires soon for them so im gonna see how light they are... with tires.. they are definitely not heavy at all!

oh the REAL volks are 8lbs... but these arent volks i was being sarcastic lol... these are emr racing jspecs.. old wheels made in the late 90's with center caps... like some old school black racing wheels... not volks but they get the job done.. up close they look like this...



after im done with the LMs these wheels are next to get some TLC.. im gonna paint them volk magnesium blue and use them for track and temp wheels when ever im not using the LMs

eta on build was around 94-97 on these from the stamp on the barrel... but i cant find any records on line of the actual wheel or EMR company... but its stamped on the inside and form the JWL tag on the inside EMR jpec with the dimensions and patterns... they could be a cousin of these



but i doubt it... ill find out sooner or later when i look through some old wheel books i have in a closet.

yea ive been trying to source center caps for them but FUUUU i need a miracle to find the right ones... i think ill just give up on center caps cuz its too hard to just find the dam info on them.
