looking at some 17x8 5zigen fn01r-c's and can't figure out whether to run the 35 offset or the 48 offset...

which would you guys recommend?

currently on TRD/Progress coilovers with a little less than a finger gap...

 

If you're running stock wheels with less than a fingers' gap, you're probably better off with the +48 offset. 17x8 is so nice in a +35 offset, but you may rub because of the width.

48, i have 17x8. 35 will make rub the fender. let me try to find u my picture thread.

at 48 its almost flush but camber makes it like its not

personally.. i think 48 offset is too sunken in. i have 18x8 with 35 offset.. and it's perfect.

HOWEVER.. and this is a big HOWEVER.. make sure you get the right tires.

i had General Exclaim UHP tires and i guess their "shoulders" are a bit thicker.. and i was rubbing on a TRD drop. I switched out the tires to Kumho ecsta spt, and wayyy less rubbing.. but i still rub on extreme dips.

 

if ur on a trd drop and were rubbin....i'm probably gonna rub like a _____ cuz i'm got a half finger gap...
