check your tire pressure, and read the owner's manual to make sure you reset it properly, i think it is something like, you have to start the car and hold the button down for like 3 seconds or something like that.

the 05-06 use the abs wheel speed sensor, so it isn't like they 07-08 that actually require you to swap sensors.

my guess is your just aren't doing it right.

Hey drax... I think he has an '07... so he needs to get his sensors back from his original rims.

Rus... the sensors are integrated into the tire valve on your original rims... you'll need to get them back and install them onto your new rims. Your friend can use regular valves on his '06.

So i just have take my valves back and give my friend his right ?

We dont have to take wheels apart right ? we just have to let the air out and simply swap vavles ?

Yep, just swap valves... then reset it with the button in the glovebox. That should be the ticket...

Yeah, you're going to need to take the wheels off the car. Your best bet would be to take both cars to a tire shop and have them swap the valves for you.

You're going to need to take the wheels off, let out the air, and I imagine that you will need to take the tire pretty much off the rim. It's not going to be easy to get the valves off the rims without taking the tires off.

The bead between the tire and the rim is usually pretty strong and most tire places put an adhesive between the tire bead and the rim of the wheel. You're going to want to make sure that you have a professional put the tire back on and balance them before putting them back on the car.

Unfortunately, with the TPMS it's not as simple as it used to be to put new rims on your tC. There's a lot of work in swapping the sensors/valves, so you'll want a professional to do it for you the right way the first time.
