I prefer black rims w/o a lip.

Maybe thats why I bought them.

I may be bias.

Does anyone have these rims with spacers? I wanna make it flush with the body.

ive seen all the pictures of people posting painted stock rims
but ive never seen 1 with painted trd rims
are the trd rims harder to paint or something?
or is it that just no one paints them?

Yeah, WLP seems like it would be hard to work with. Keep it clean and tasteful and you can't go wrong.

Not to threadjack, I promise, but heres the rims in question.

My car has a black and red theme so should I tint the tails? I like the red and want to do my calipers to match.

But I'd also like to see someone paint these rims! Just please dont ask me to do it.

lol. looks like a 4x4. wheels are hot. no lip FTMFW! a BBK would fill it nicely.

^^I almost went with those but I got the 5Axis rims instead. I'm liking your look. Paint your calipers
and then decide if you want to tint the tails. One last ?; what are you lowered on?

lol, almost. Its TRD springs, everything I got is TRD. I might go lower eventually but I got the TRD springs cheap and didnt want to go too low. Its the first car I've ever lowered and didnt want to scrape. The rims make the car look higher than it is.

^^That does look high. I have TRD Springs and mine look nothing like yours'.
Click on the 'MGS4 "Spotted" tC' portion of my sig for a gander at how low I sit.
Your tC still looks clean though.

I checked it, it looks tight. Your right, a lot less gap then mine, and we have the same size rim. Oh well, I dont think mine looks bad at all, so I might swith eventually but right now Im koo.

if you went with progress springs it would have been perfect. but ohh well the TRD stiffen up real nice when you go around a corner but still relaxing to drive.

i like how Stevemg is sitting, would look better a tad lower, but doesn't look bad.

stevemg, i wouldn't tint the tails. being in Cali that could be a hassle with the cops. Granted others have done it and haven't gotten into trouble with but I wouldn't. Plus, SOOOO many people have done it. Personally, I'd take them to a body shop to have the back part of the housing painted; that would give it a darker red. But if you don't want to do that I say just leave it as is, it still looks clean and smooth. Oh and I'd change the lugs to either red or those project kics lugs.

ya, I actually wanna get some red ones, but I see so many red ones that look pink. I'd need to see them in person first. I will look into those project kics. Good looking out!
