turning off the tpms

im getting rims tommorow, the guy at the rim shop said i can transfer the tpms to the new wheels for $50. is the light still gonna be on? if so, can you shut it off.

If you transfer the TPMS, the light won't be on.

yeah i would have it done and no you can't turn it off but when you get them transfered just rest the light by opening your glove box and holding the tpms button for a few seconds

funny. i had my new rims on for about a month now and still no light.....

My Yaris did the same thing.......took about 250 miles before it turned on....

if the TPMS sensors are switched over you will have no indicator on the gauge cluster.

if it comes on, you can always reset it with the button in the glove compartment.
