Default Waiting sucks...

**I've made my decision. Scroll to the bottom.**

I like the SSR GT3s in 18", but I can't find bolt patterns or offsets for them anywhere. Do they even make them in 5x100? If not, then can someone recommend a high quality, fairly lightweight alernative 5 split spoke. A lip is not neccessary, as I actually like the optional OEM wheels for the new Audi A4 a bit better. Failing that, can anyone tell me what wheels these are?

SSR made them in 5x100. Here's a pic of a 5x100 set on a VW.

I believe theyre discontinued, but copies exist. Theyre available on www.wheelmax.com and through other knock-off vendors.

ok, i need guidance. i've been shopping around online for wheels, and no webistes have the info i need. i'm very close to giving up and just going to a local speed shop, but i'd like to give it one more shot here to avoid the markup.

i like the gt3's, but i'm not dead set on them. i have $3500 to spend on a wheel and tire package, and while i can go a bit over that number, that's pretty much my limit. i need a lightweight (under 20 lbs), durable, 5 spoke, preferably split, 18" wheel that looks clean. a lip is not necessary, but i wouldn't mind one. i know pretty much exactly what i want, but i don't know where to find it. can you all help me out? thanks in advance.

ok, i decided to make some compromises, mainly because the gt3s are hard to find, and i can't find any info on how much they weigh. i'm most likely going with enkei Zr1's in 18"x8" with +35mm offset.

i'm looking at buying them from edgeracing.com bundled with falken Fk452's in 225/40. if you all could let me know what you think, i'd really appreciate it.

if you have $3500 to spend on a wheel and tire package, why not go with something a little better? Work wheels for example? Maybe something to that extent? You will still have extra money if you buy a set like enkei or anything else. just a thought...

thanks for responding. yeah, you're right, i have the money to spend, and i want a nice set. i just don't want to spend the money and find out that they're too heavy or the offset is wrong. i can't find the info i need online. i need some guidance, but i don't want to pay the markup at a speed shop. i'm kind of at a loss for what to do next, so the enkeis are looking pretty good right now. my tires are getting balder by the mile too.

ok, i've decided on the 18"x8" +35 ZR1's in hyper black with 225/40 Toyo Proxes T1r tires. the best deal i've found is at wheelfire.com for about $1500. that's less than half of what i was looking to spend, but comperable wheels from rays or work are heavier. i've got the funds all lined up, and i'm placing the order monday because my girl asked me to sleep on it. i tried to explain that i've been mulling this over and shopping around for months, but i guess another day is no biggy. i'd like to know if anyone here has any thoughts or opinions on my wheel and tire choice. thanks in advance, guys.

thanks, jon. the wheels are supposed to ship out by friday. does anyone know if i'll have to get an alignment once the wheels go on, or do different sized wheels not affect it?

No alignment should be needed, the overall diameter of your tire hasn't changed and unless you added a drop you shouldn't have to worry about it. If you are concerned just watch your tread wear and if it starts to develope an uneven wear pattern take it in for an alignment. Also, If it pulles to either side when you put them on, or it does it now. Have the alignment done. You don't want to ruin your nice new tires.
