Default whcih tires should i buy?

hey guys im about to buy tires for my konig rims they are 18 by 7.5 and im gonna go with a 225/40 zr18 tire now i'm not sure whether i should go with a set of kumho excsta asx's ( all season extreme performance tire) which will cost me like 400 mounted and balanced from a friend of mine but i also found a set of 225/40 zr18 falken ziex 512 tires for about 360 but it still cost me about 400 to mount and balance i heard they are real good and real reliable which tire do you guys think i should get? based on experience price and overall ride and stability thanks in advance for the help guy

i would go with asx's since you live in NY. but pirelli pzero nero m/s's would be my first choice.

don't skimp on tires, they're the only thing that connects your car to the ground.

Seriously the TOYO Proxes 4 are the best tires out there.. Serious ALL SEASON PERFORMANCE TIRES.. With AWESOME Treadwear.... I ahve used these for about 4-6 months now and i can tell you even through high puddles at 60+ MPH it barely registers on the wheel.. A slight tap, but never looses traction. A hard launch wet or dry it really grips the road... I have 225/40/18 with 18x8... I can tell you you will not be disapointed.. Ask anyone who has used these tires, and they will tell you the same...

Toyo Proxes4 for the 215/45-17 size about $117-120 each and they are awesome tires. slush/snow they were good too. But ice, not so good, hardly any tire is good on ice though.

I haven't seen much snow yet with them in michigan. But am saying about up to 4 inches or so should be ok.

So yeah I agree with Scion_X Toyo Proxes4 is the way to go. Had Pirelli Pzero Nero before, too many defectives (out of round, etc) for me to ever think about those again. Plus if you don't like the Toyo's (don't see why you wont) you can get a refund! Toyo has a 500 mile "test drive" program! Don't like em, you can get rid of em.
