Here's mine. 18" 5Zigen RX6s in Hyper Black w/35mm Offset
*Front*

*Rear*

*Finished*

35mm is almost flush in the front. The rear, as you can see, is still tucked. So 38mm would be tucked ever so slightly in comparison to 35mm.

a 38 offset would push the wheel out 4mm more..meaning it will stick out more.

and whats the point of running thicker tires in the rear?

and i highly recomend that you do not purchase a 35 series tire for your front unless you like buying tires every other month

NONONO..its not about the tire quality, its about the size. ask anyone who has 19's how often their tires pop or go flat. usually people with 19's run 35's.. i recomend 40+ for tires..you can fit more rubber if you wanted, i have never heard of people going with less. and one more thing..we are FWD..so more meatier tires up front rather than the rear

sounds like a load of crap ( no offense blackonblack).....i had 225/35 on my 19's and never had any issues period. you run a 40 series your overall diameter will be larger then it needs to be and you will have other issues. rubbing for one.

the correct size is a 225/35-19 or 235/35-19 the tires will last you as long as you take care of them rotate them etc. my accord has 35 series and has never had a single problem. my denali had 30 series and that thing weighed twice as much as a Tc and it sat on 22"s and i never had a problem, tires are not ballons and will not just pop at random, 95% of all tire damage is opertor error, the other 5% is actually a defective tire.

if you really want to know about tires, call americas tire, ask for kurt he knows pretty much everything about about tires.

BTW, if you get your tires from discount tire, or tirerack for a few bucks more they have a nofault replacement warranty you can buy, so if you "pop" a tire even if its your fault they will replace it, check it out, i buy all my tires with the warranty, you never know.
good luck!

Heya fellas ...
I was thinking about posting another topic, but i figure i'll ask my question here since my wheel specs are close.

I am running Enkei GF1 which are 18x7.5. I got Nitto NeoGens 235/40r18. My suspension are Eibach ProKits which is 1.4inch drop. I notice rubbing when I hit bumps even minor small bumps. the rubbing sound like it comes from the front. When i drive on good roads there's no rubbing. Is that a normal thing to be rubbing when i hit a bump? How do i fix that?

Well its normal that you are hearing this because of the offset of your wheels, but its not a good thing. The only way you can get this corrected is if you get your fenders rolled.

Here are some of my pics btw...

I would say 35 or 36mm. They both are almost flush. On tires, I would have to say 225/40s. You could go with 235s, but you might get some rubbing issues in the front. I have had my 18"s with Pirelli PZero Nero 225/40s for almost a year now with absolutely no rubbing what so ever. This is just my opinion. Others, I'm sure, will chime in as well.
