Default Will 225/45/17 Drag Radials fit on tC?

I was wondering on if anyone has purchased drag radials for their tC and what size did you use. I currently have Goodyear Eagle GT street tires on the stock rims 215/45/17 but Ive been going to the track recently after I got my car re-tuned and they do not grip at all. My car has 12lbs of boost and about 300whp. My car ran 14.60 at 98mph when I was at 7lbs of boost and at only 240whp. Now with the new tune and new exhaust it seems I have too much power and its not gripping off the line. My best time this weekend was 14.40 at 105mph. I was wondering if anyone has a good suggestion for some Drag Radials, I am hoping to break 13's and was hoping the drag radials will help. I was looking into BF Goodrich g-Force T/A™ Drag Radial and was hoping these will be a good tire to go with. I know that their probably is a thread about this already and I know some A$$ hole is going to say, " TRY SEARCHING THE FORUM THIS HAS ALREADY BEEN DISCUSSED" Well I cannot find it so here I am posting a thread. Let me know Thanks..

Dunno about drag radials, but I'm considering buying another set of rims for the track and I'm gonna either put Dunlop Direzza Star Specs, Hankook Ventus V12 Evos, or Falken Azenis RT615Ks on em in 225/45/17.

Have you used the BFG drag radials before? I just want a tire that will be able to get good traction for the track. I will just be using the tires for when I go to the track not everyday usage.

well i kno that the hankooks would be a good choice my car isnt boosted but i launched it at 3 grand when i first got them and it would barely spin with my dg rpf1's. my buddy has an srt4 with the star specs on it, i launched it with 2 step on the street and they grip pretty good and with your power range i dont see why these wouldnt work your you.

I dont understand on how they suck, Ive heard good reviews about them, also you are using a street/track tire now, I would think the drag radials would have a better grip when you drop the PSI compared to the ones you have currently.

I would believe you need atleast an 8" wide wheel to run 245's and stocks are not that wide
