Hey i was wondering if anyone knows if the Stock STI BBS would fit the TC i had this idea in mind for awhile to put some Gold STI BBS on my TC because i think it would look nice i have always like those BBS......


Sorry if it is a stupid question or if i get flamed for wanting to put something that comes stock on the STI on the TC

 

no... sti rims are 5 x 114.5

 

I know the BBS are a 5x100 and i did some reasearch and i think the TC is 5x100 also

 

What yr are you looking at? 2005+ are 114

 

2004 = 5x100
2005+ = 5x114

does this sound like a bad idea putting STI rims on the TC, i mean i really think it would look nice

 

the 04 STI wheels are 5x100, 17x7.5, et53. You'll need a 15mm spacer to run them. I believe Subaru centerbore is larger than Toyota, which means you couldnt put a Toyota 5x100 wheel on a Subaru.

 

i think it would stick in more than stock.

2004 BBS - 17 x 7.5 53 mm offset 5x100 w/ 225/45/17 tires. Hmmm i think it will work and look nice. just dont know if the stance will be good. being that stock is 17x7 w/45 offset.

wheels come in 17x8 with a +46 offset and 18x8 with a +44mm offset

 

They both will probably be fine. Stock is 17x7 w/ 45mm offset, so you're looking right around the same area with either of those sizes.

They might not sit flush btw...

 

so i would need to get spacers or something of that sort?

 

If you need them to sit flush, yes. It seems like on an 8" rim 35mm is a good flush offset.

Now, if you want perfect you're going to have to talk to someone like HKSpeed with a staggered fitment.

Don't laugh but i'm using tokico blue springs for 00+ celica's.
They fit pretty good and no rubs. No finger gap in the back & 2 in the front.

I thought all tC's were 5x100? I hope so cause then I may have to rethink the rotas i've been looking at..

Entered mine as 07 and it says the bolt pattern is 5x100
