I am looking to get a set of rims for the winter. Do stock scion xD steel rims fit on the tc and clear the brakes. Any ones input would help... Thanks

 

be like the BMW guys and run RPF1's for the winter....

 

yes xd's wheels fit 5x100 as well as Spec TC steelies

mind you, my car was stock back then and has significantly changed since. but i still roll on the steelies for winter.

 

I picked up a set of OEM tC wheels on Craigslist for under $100 for winter - but the xD wheels would be a good option as well!

 

are the Spec TC steelies 16"s or 17" ??

why do you need winter rims?

 

To put winter tires on them

Because it is ridiculously easier to just change 4 wheels with tires already mounted on them than it is to have different tires put on the same set of wheels every other season.

Incredibly helpful for those of us who want to run summer tires (which should never be driven in the winter) and have a set of snow tires for those colder months.

 

my winter set-up: four jack stands and rims in the basement hahaha
