I have had some Michelin Alpins and they were pretty good. They are also a little louder than my stock tires.

There are a lot of winter tires to choose from. The winter tire best for you will depend on your driving conditions, where you live and driving style. When you are shopping for winter tires focus on function

i live where there are rough roads in the winter. im looking to get smaller rims with more tire to better help absorb shock from potholes, etc. will 15" rims fit without hitting or rubbing the brakes? i was thinking regular old, boring, cheap steel wheels.
also, most of the cars where i live are american. are there any american cars that share the same rim size, offset, bolt pattern as my tC?? it would be easier to find them if i could tell people im looking for an american car rim than a scion..

^^ There are plenty of manufactures that make wheels for your Scion TC. You should be able to look for the size, bolt pattern and offset just as easy as searching by vehicle. There aren't any American vehicles that are an exact fit as your Scion.

15" wheels will work on your TC, we have a few different styles of them in stock.
