Default xxr wheels.. will it fit?

Done a lot of searching on the forum but I havent found anybody with a 1-1.5" drop with wide 9.5 rears. I'm looking at getting xxr 002 18x8.5 et25 front(225/40), 18x9.5 et35 rears(255/40)

Roads are crap in Wisconsin around my town so only looking at a slight drop with springs.

There are guys here with 3.5-4 inch drops and they're running 10 wides... you should be fine. Your tire choice is terrible. Go with 215/40 Front and 225/40 Rear.

I would go 215 F only if you were lower or slammed. At your height you are fine w 225/40 all around.

225 or 235 would be fine. I personally would go 235 but I like some meat on my tires so that's just mean

Although with such a mild drop a wheel that aggressive IMO is going to look pretty goofy.

I was running 19x9.5+38(265/35....Bad choice) in the rear with TRD springs and I rubbed slightly after rolling fenders then I went down to 235/35 and I was fine. I upgrated to s-techs and im still doing fine. I had 19x8.5 in the fronts. Keep in mind these were 19s

I just got the car and After I get the wheels I will be able to see how low I will be able to go without rubbing like crazy. A little rub isnt bad but with my old xb i took chunks out of the tires and i dont want to do that again, lol

and thanks for the info EDDIEA!

Go with 225/40 to feel In the wheel gap you shouldn't have a problem with this set up and drop
